About the Club & the Benefits of Becoming a Member
The Muskogee Gun Club is an NRA-recognized organization founded to encourage organized pistol and rifle shooting among its members. Revolver, 3-gun, and Shotgun usage is also supported, and Archery enthusiasts are welcome. We are all volunteers and all dedicated to the safe and proper use of firearms.
Meetings:
Regular –
- 3rd Monday of each month, 7 p.m. at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center which is located at 119 Spaulding Blvd. Muskogee, OK 74403.
- New members please arrive at 6:30 for registration and safety brief
Special – held occasionally and announced to members by mail and/or email.
Benefits of Membership:
The aim of our activities is for members to gain knowledge of safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as to improve their marksmanship.
We are family-oriented and want membership to be a great experience for you and your loved ones.
As a member, you will:
- have access to our private range facility west of Warner, Oklahoma (see this page for more info)
- be able to take part in our NRA-governed competitions held at that range
- be a part of our group marksmanship events
- learn new gun care tips
- get advice from pros on correcting your stance and otherwise hone your gun skills
- share your interest in firearms with other members
- find the best sources for trading guns and buying gun supplies
- be part of a friendly group that not only practices at hitting those target but also shares their interest in related activities such as telling stories of their experiences hunting and fishing
Best of all, as a member you will make new friends who share a common interest.
We also offer opportunities for practicing and learning more about archery.
How to Become a Member:

You do NOT need to be a member of the NRA to join.
Fill in the membership form and bring it with a check for the dues amount to our next regular meeting.
Dues are pro-rated for new members.
Renewing members must pay annual dues in full before June 1st of each year.
Minimum age for members is 21 years old.

I am interested in a shooting range and this is the nearest to me. I’m an armed security guard/teacher that currently has no where to sharpen my skill set consistently. I am also interested in USSPA. I would like to know or have proof that this range exists because the 2 clubs I’ve looked up locally online no longer exist.

Hi, I’d like more info on membership & dues. Shooting on my property scares my horses. I have my state handgun license. I’ll try to make your next meeting if you still meet at the library in Muskogee.
